Arizona Cruiser Todd Nordahl Thought He Was a Hoover: Arrested After Performing Oral Sex on Underage Boy

You’ve heard the phrase, “Golf ball through a garden hose?” Well, according to police, that pretty much describes 49-year-old Todd Nordahl of Tucson.

Here’s the problem. Nordahl was practicing his oral skills on a 15-year-old boy, according to investigators. The “suck-off” allegedly occurred on-board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Nordahl, formerly of Seattle, is charged with sexual abuse of a minor while in the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, U.S. Attorney Kenneth Magidson said on Wednesday.

Authorities took Nordahl into custody when the cruise ship, Mariner of the Seas, returned to port in Galveston, Texas.

According to the criminal complaint, on or about March 27, Nordahl knowingly engaged in sexual contact with a teenage boy he knew to be a minor.

After inviting the victim back to his room, Nordahl allegedly provided an alcoholic beverage to the teen and made sexual advances toward him. After a brief period of “cuddling,” Nordahl performed oral sex on the victim, according to the criminal complaint.

The FBI investigated with the cooperation of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Magidson said. Assistant U.S. Attorney Sherri L. Zack is prosecuting the case.
